GATEWAY-LONGVIEW (Y-DPP)

Gateway-Longview seeks to more fully address the mental health needs of children, youth and their families through the operation of an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Buffalo. Funds will be used specifically for Mental Health Treatment of children and adolescents to cover costs incurred during the first 18 months of operation before Gateway-Longview receives Medicaid reimbursement.

YMCA DIABETES PREVENTION PROGRAM (Y-DPP)

The overall goal of this start-up program is to prevent diabetes in a population that is disproportionately at risk due to age, race and socioeconomic status. This will be accomplished by engaging participants in health and wellness programming using an evidence based curriculum at the Ellicott-Masten YMCA with the intent of having a long-term health care impact.
